Nancy Wapoose
Daughter of Charles Wapoose. She was a well-known and respected medicine woman of Sarnia. She had one child before marriage and was married twice, first to Dominique Peladeau/Palado, of the Thessalon River Indians. He froze to death about 1848, in Sarnia. Nancy then married Louis Recollet, also known as Louis Maville. The Chippewas of Sarnia Band Council approved Louis's application to join their Band. His original Band is currently unknown. Nancy died on 8 Aug 1888. See her will, dated 25 Nov 1886.

Charles Laforge
Born about 1841. His father was John Laforge. Charles married Ann Donnelly on 29 Sep 1892, in Port Huron, Michigan.

Julia Peladeau/Palado
Born 15 Feb 1843. Her father was Dominique Peladeau/Palado (Nancy Wapoose's first husband). Julia lived with her parents and the Band which came to be called the Chippewas of Sarnia. When she was very young, probably after the death of her father, she was taken by her mother and paternal grandmother, who was also called Julia Peladeau/Palado (and known as Julia Wahsaigezhikgokwe and as Negonahbonaquai) to Thessalon River Reserve, the home of the senior Julia Peladeau/Palado, her husband Louis Peladeau/Palado, and their son Dominique. Young Julia was left there with her paternal grandparents, who raised her to adulthood. Nancy Wapoose returned to the Sarnia area.

Julia married Andre Proulx on 18 Dec 1860, at Blind River Ontario. He died in a freak accident about 1873. Julia returned to Sarnia, where she met Henry Bateman, who worked on her mother's farm. Julia and Henry were married on 12 Dec 1876 at Port Huron, Michigan. They remained on the farm until they moved to Killarney in the 1890s. 

Julia and Andre's children were: Edward Charles, William Dominique, Aurelie, Louis, Andrew, Mary, Marguerite Henriette (Harriet), Julia and Joseph.

Julia and Henry's children were: Joseph, Albert, Thomas, George, Peter, Richard, and Alice.

Nancy Peladeau/Palado
Born after 1843. Died about 1873. Second child of Nancy Wapoose and Dominique Peladeau/Palado.

Mary Recollet/Maville
Birthdate unknown. Daughter of Nancy Wapoose and Louis Recollet/Maville. Married Dr. Whitfield Tillison (also spelled Tillson) and had five children: Charles, Louise, Joseph, Alice, and Agnes. Mary died before 1886. After her death, her children were brought to Killarney, where they were raised by Ferdinand Roque and his wife Marguerite Recollet.

Caroline Recollet/Maville
Birthdate unknown. Daughter of Nancy Wapoose and Louis Recollet/Maville. Caroline may have had a child before marriage, named William West. She married Augustin Goyer. She also had a child George Pitfield Sr,.named George J. Pitfield Jr. After Caroline's death, her children William West and George Pitfield Jr. were brought to Killarney, where they were raised by Ferdinand Roque and his wife Marguerite Recollet.

Henry Recollet/Maville
Birthdate unknown, son of Nancy Wapoose and Louis Recollet/Maville. Henry married and remained on Sarnia reserve. He had at least one son, Charles.
